Alabama home committee approves bill to setup pay day loan database

MONTGOMERY, Alabama — After many years of killing bills to tighten up laws on pay day loans, the Legislature may consent to set up a database to be sure individuals don’t sign up for significantly more than $500 in loans in the past.
